Oh ya got me. LOL.
2 miles on the eliptical. I may have to give it a rest on the running. My knee is just not liking it. Glad I gave it another shot. But...I will stick to the less jarring which means I can walk without a limp.;) :D

Thursday 4/1/10

I taught/did my 1hr yoga class tonight - it was a kick your booty type of class......I guess I had some excess energy....poor attendies...

My goal for this month is to do yoga every day - Thank you Green Woman for hooking me up with Dashama's website! I signed up for the challenge. I did my own yoga class tonight, but tomorrow I will do her "Day 1 & 2", then I'll be right back on track! :D

It was such a beautiful day outside today - 82 degrees.....in WI.!! That's almost unheard of so early in the year....it's supposed to be back in the 50's come the weekend....I'll take it while I can :)

Yesterday, I got some GREAT unintentional exercise. My husband and I took the kiddos to the Biltmore Estate for their first time. It was a lot of walking! My calves are sooo sore.

Today was my week 4, day 1 run of the C25K. Some parts were a little tough, so I might end up repeating this week.

No gym this weekend. Got in longer walks with the dogs and extra fooling around playing with the kids. Lots of fun movement this weekend.

I've worked my way up to a level 10 incline on the treadmill for 30 minutes. My legs and butt are really feeling it! My goal for this month is to get up to 45 minutes. I get in 10 minutes on that blasted StairMaster (I still don't like that thing!!). Anyway whether I like it or not it works...so my goal for this month is to get up to 15 minutes on the StairMaster. Really looking for something to replace that thing!

As for strength training, I have been working out my upper body once a week and my lower body once a week. I am going to up that to upper body twice a week and lower body twice a week.

I just started exercising again regularly almost three months ago - five days a week minimum - usually six. I am really enjoying it. That along with my green smoothies is really making me feel like a million dollars! I don't let anything interfere with my workouts. If something unavoidable does come up I commit myself to making up that workout....and I do.

Hey all!! Here I am back on track :D

Last night was 35 min of interval running (walk 1m run 1m)
30 min resistance/weight training
stretching

Tonight I am planning a long walk - Tai Chi - pilates and maybe treadmill when home from class.....

Got some poundage to drop so I feel like myself again before FL in TWO WEEKS!! (fyi - it's mostly bloat and water weight so I'm not trying to do too much :))

Glad everyone is doing so well!!!

2:33min for day 2
5:22min for day 3
7:09min for day 4

35 min on treadmill with 1.5 min joggin intervals and 1.5 walking. Feeling great! :) Today I up it another 30 sec to 2 min jog/2 min walk!

Monk - yeah, spiriling chi is going to be awesome I think!! You start by invisioning the chi spiriling in a certain manner from your center around you limbs and through your palms and feet.....one you "get it" it's good for the bones as it helps to push toxins through the marrow and out. Really cool concept :)

I confess, after last month (http://www.dauntlessdiva.com)I ceased to do Yoga consistently.

Now, I'm wondering if I should try Spinning for awhile... or a self-defense/martial art... the latter holds some definite appeal.

At present, I've been walking daily and that's been my exercise. I am enjoying these long walks down grassy sidewalks and in rain or shine! :D
