I found this place by google raw food forum.
looked for a place to talk to people with knowledge about raw food living for several reasons:
Im 38. obese. live in thailand, but are born danish. I have complications physically like: pre diabetic. I react strongly to sugars now. got pains in lower part of lungs, liver, pancreas and prostate.
My life has been very unhealthy my whole life. despite that I managed to become danish champion in karate etc in my younger years despite I lived on junk foods. the last 3 years I have been moving more and more over into raw foods etc. now I am ready to make the big step and heal myself BUT I struggle with cravings and food addictions. also I am not really fully educated on HOW to eat a diet that is good for weight loss and anti diabetes etc.
my pains I dont know what is....... could be candida etc. I dont trust doctors so I have no diagnose. done fasting and cleanses. they work and take away my pains. but comes back after 1 week or so when I eat. my diet is around 70% raw now. still got troubles. I need all the advices I can get. or maybe just get send in the right direction.
I am actually a lover of nature and plants. doing lots of shamanistic stuff and loves my garden etc. have no clue why its so hard for me to drop this old addictive side of my food cravings etc.
is there foods good to eat for cravings?
my cravings are for meat. heavy stuff. feeling FULL. coffee for energy kicks. also I am not a wizard in a kitchen so it has to be somewhat easy to prepare. im not a superman in the kitchen.
I need to get out of my pains. my obesity. my cravings. I need a new life. I got a lot of time. free from work. live in thailand. lots of good natural foods here. its about to know what to do.
got 10kg. of cacao beans in.
have a oscar juicer
will order a blentec blender
will order maca root, go ji berries
lots of coconuts here, coconut milk, meats, water etc.
green leaves etc. available here too.
lots of fruits but I can not eat too much or too sweet as my pancreas will start hurting if I do and I will get dizzy foggy etc.
so guys and girls in here....... I need all the advice I can get from you.

thank you.

Well buddy, welcome, you're in the best place in the world to start healing.:)

My life has been very unhealthy my whole life.

Understand also for that reason you're going to need more than a few weeks to recover.

BUT I struggle with cravings and food addictions.

So does everyone starting out.

I dont trust doctors so I have no diagnose.

Welcome Fellow Scandinavian, I am a 38 yr old swedish chick living in TX, US.
Yes, you are in one wonderful place in order to go raw..abundance fo fruits and nuts, veggies and sun to feel and become healthy.

It is hard to leave the cooked foods behind, because they are addicting..so don't feel bad about it. That is how they real you in..;)

If you are craving meats and heavy things, eat nuts or other fattier raw things, like avocados or bananas, don't worry about serving size..yet, you need to get over your hunger feelings and servings smervings doesn't matter as much when you are raw.

I have kept my hypoglycemia away completely since I went raw 46 days ago, which amazes me since my Dr's told me the only way to live and feel good while dealing with hypoG was to eat high protein, low carb..i.e no fruits but lots of meats..very anti Raw, don't you think?
I wish you the best of luck and all you need to get healthy and stay raw. Welcome again..

welcome! the search engine here is full of amazing information. my only advice would be to be patient with the transition. it takes time to get good at reading what your body needs, but i can vouch for this path and it's mental and physical healing properties.
