Guess where I'm going tomorrow? Oh yaaaaaaaaaa. I am finally... after 2.5 years raw... going to eat at the closest raw food restaurant to me LOL
Oh how pathetic eh? I've been to one... count 'em folks... ONE raw restaurant - and that was when I was a mere couple of months into raw foods... and now... I'm finally going to another!
The other restaurant I went to was in Seattle on our way to Vegas for my daughter's wedding...
Ahhhh I can't wait. Check out the menu (http://www.gorillafood.com/food%20menu.html)!
I may have to have one of everything... just to try it! Definitely having some humus... and perhaps some of their sushi... and maybe even a pizza? There are three of us going so I plan on trying some of EVERYone's dishes LOL
mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmm goooooooooooooooooooooooooood!!!

WOW! So many choices on the menu! That would be tough. I can't decide between a Pizza Party, Rawmein Newdles, or a sylky mylk and dessert. Might have to visit twice, for lunch and dinner, with dinner and dessert to go. ;) Enjoy!!! :D
Whoa - I can't get over how big the menu is!
I've only been to a raw food restaurant once also - and they only offered one entree, zucchini pasta with marinara sauce. But, it was so good and what a treat to have a raw food meal that I didn't prepare! It was around Christmastime last year about 100 miles away.. there aren't any raw restaurants in our town.
Have a great meal!! (what fun!) *Ü*

Snicker ~ I did see an old picture from the late 40s of a local restaurant with the atomic symbol in the background and it said, "Fission Chips" over it - with a fish picture. (Fish 'n Chips) Cute. *Ü*

This restaurant is about 2 hours from my home... so no short drive but it's going to be worth it. I plan to order some for there, order some for tonight at home and perhaps a few desserts for the freezer!!!
Ohhhhh I'm so excited!!!

we drove all the way there, put our $4 in the meter and then walked to the restaurant only to find a sign saying they are no longer open on sundays. argh... wish they updated their website!!!
so we drove ALL that way for nothing :(

OH THAT REALLY BITES (banging head against the wall smiley! here), yeah I know what that's like living away from city and making a trip "into town" for nothing. I hope you didn't drown your sorrow in anything unhealthy.:(

Did you go to Radha Yoga and Eatery, or Eternal Abundance? They are both in Vancouver not far from Gorilla Foods.

No I've never heard of them...
I did contact them regarding this but they never bothered to respond to my email. So... I won't be bothering with them again. Customer service, IMO - is very important.
I was just there two weeks ago.. Very good food. It was my first ever raw meal. Im hooked. I had the zucchini alfredo and thai salad wraps with the gorilla cookies for desert. Also tried the apple pie another day. Everything was wicked good and the customer service was top notch. I hope you have the chance to try again.
