I hope you have fun at the party=) It is such a gorgeous day here, isnt it?
Today- in no particular order
-green smoothie
-plums
-mushroom casserole as yet undecided--probably cheesy tomato
-cherry tomatoes and orange segments for movies (if I go)
I've decided to almost spontaneously go to Austin tomorrow. I'll have a reason to clean up the house in prep to go, reason to do all the laundry, I'll be able to try all their new raw restaurants, I'm going to do the touristy stuff like tour the capital building, I'm going to camp in nature...anyway, I hope I am doing all that=p

breakfast=1 banana
lunch=big salad with romaine hearts, baby romaine, 1/2 cucumber, whole avocado, basil lime dressing (dulse, olive oil, sea salt, fresh lime juice, basil)
dinner=probably raw spring rolls with carrots, daikon, a little mango, and a nut based dipping sauce
snack=chocolate banana shake
good afternoon all,
So far today:
carrots dipped in Mock Salmon pate
Alissa's Mudslide drink (was so good!) - almonds, banana, dates, water, and I added a dash of cinnamon. It got slightly warm from the VitaMix and I felt like I was drinking chai. mmmmm
Later today I'm going to attempt to make my first ever raw sushi!
Also need to get busy soaking barley to sprout (something I've never done) so I can try out Alissa's Meatloaf recipe topped with BBQ sauce. Can't wait!
Also going to try to make her Carrot Cake tomorrow!
*** edited to add rest of day:
I had 12 slices of sushi. So good! Nori rolls with grated cauliflower, avocado, carrots, and sprouts. Served with sliced ginger and dipped in Braggs. Wow.
Also ended up making the carrot cake. Tasted good, but it is very wet... I wouldn't call it cake. More like Carrot-Cake Pudding. Not quite what I was hoping for.
