Has anybody made a raw version of biscuits and gravy? That's another food that I've REALLY been missing, and I've searched all around and can't really find anything comparable. I guess I could do some sprouted grains and then make mushroom gravy or something like that, but are there any other ideas?

Well - I haven't tried it yet, but I just posted a buckwheat biscuit recipe here (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=59014). Post #4. She included a picture in her newsletter and I was surprised - it looked like a piece of cornbread (texture wise). *Ü*

How about some button musrooms, softened in the dehydrator with some cashew cream gravy on top? I'd add some black pepper, maybe some sage if you want it sausagey.
