Have any of you had any hive-like eruptions on your skin while doing the MC? I just read that it's a healing crisis:
Skin eruptions, including: boils, hives, and rashes. Note: skin eruptions are often misdiagnosed as allergic reactions, resulting in the premature cessation of the cleansing program.
You may think that you actually feel worse or that the treatment is not working at all during a cleanse. Do not despair. These are all signs that your treatment is working and that your body is going through the process of cleaning itself of impurities, toxins and imbalances.
SO, I guess I should continue on with the cleanse, even though I'm on Day 16!

Yes, it's a healing crisis. There are as many forms of healing crises as there are of those that get them. Stay the course and it will pay off in the end.;)

Thanks everyone... I drank tons of water last night and rested.. This morning, there's only a tiny bit of 'hives' left. At one point last night, I thought I may pass out--was very dizzy while making my SM tea!
So.. I am not 100% yet, but I was covered in hive-like welts all over my body last night and now just have a few tiny little spots of them left. (still itchy)!
Drank my SWF and took a nap, and am about to drink as much water as I possily can to flush the rest of the toxins out. WOW--amazing that I was experiencing a healing crisis on Day 16! Good thing I didn't do the cleanse for only 10 days!!

Amazing job. I love that you appreciate the benefits rather that dwelling on the negatives.

THANK YOU!! I must admit I have had a hard time, but know that if I DIDN'T continue on, the toxins would just cause me more trouble in the future.
On Day 18 now and only have a tiny bit of irritation on one of my arms.. It is 99% gone! Amazing, considering how I looked, and felt, on Wed night!! I had people trying to get me to a doctor!
And, I am happy to say that I am now down 10 pounds.. I will continue through today and Day 19 tomorrow, then will re-assess. I may make tomorrow my last day, or shoot for Day 21. We'll see!

Mine only lasted for 2 days. Now, there's no trace of them at all!
Hmmmmmmm an omelette during a fast? I have had nothing for 18 days, other than the lemonade, tea, salt water, and water...

When I did a fast, years ago, I got this incredible rash of red pustules, under my breasts, along my hairline, and on my vulva. Unbelievably itchy! I assumed it to be a healing crisis--some bacteria or something, coming to the surface. It left a visible scar for some weeks after.
The same thing happened, when I tried taking Body Mint deodorant tablets. Those things pack a punch of chlorophyll, and therefore are supposed to eliminate your body odor. I had a very similar breakout of rash when I tried taking those pills, while on a normal SAD diet.
