I have a question for you guys.
My lifestyle is pretty sedentary and I don't go out much. Will the raw food lifestyle still help me lose weight and be healthier if I don't exercise every day?

I do weekly square dancing usually, and get on the Bowflex at least 2 times a week for about 15-20 mins. Is it enough?

I lost a bunch of weight with no exercise. However our bodies are made to move and it aids elim of toxins and is soooooo healthy to exercise!

I am now a runner and it is awesome!

While you can, and most likely will loose weight without excersise, I recommend moving your body every day. Even if it's just a walk or dancing around in your living room. Movement is what our bodies are meant to do. I've taken up running as of late and am quite enjoying it. Just do what you like to do.

Thank you both of you!
I do go to school every day and end up going up and down stairs because of my aid position, but I am very worried about during the summer when I'm going to be gaming more. I'll try to dance, walk, yoga, etc. I guess. Thanks again!
It's comforting to know that I'll probably lose weight anyways.

You should shoot for some sort of exercise everyday. Is your goal only to lose weight or be healthy because you can lose weight on a raw food diet but for your body to be optimal, you need to have some sort of exercise every day.:) And to answer your question, no...2 times a week for 15 to 20 is not enough.

I'm shooting to lose weight and be healthy. I try to do something to at least get my heart rate up every day whether it be dancing or what, but I don't do it for very long. And it's usually in bursts throughout the day.

Hydrotherapy gets your circulation really going as well, still it's good to use in conjunction with movement (meaning exercise) of some sort.

What might help is to incorporate some kind of exercise into your life that becomes something that is not an option. While you may lose weight with exercise, your toning and the condition of your body may not be optimal.

'They' say that doing just 30 mins of exercise a day will help. Why don't you start with that? Break it up into 15 minutes a piece and I bet it will fit nicely into life and you may find you want more!
