Ok, I'm doing it. I'm fasting for my first time ever. I've been so scared to do this and so scared of feeling hungry!

I know it's mind over matter and I know it's good for me. My goal is to fast every Monday (fresh juices and water).

Today, I started the day with a wheat grass and lemon juice and then more water and around noon I had the same thing.

I have a bit of a headache, a little rumbling in the tummy, and am tired...but not a bad tired, I just feel like I want to nap which I'm about to do.

I plan to continue the wheat grass and lemon juice as needed today. I know it's very cleansing. Dinner is already made for my family so I don't have to be around much food later. And hopefully I'll go to bed early!

I know this first fast will be the roughest. I just have to prove to myself that I can do it.

Anyway, thanks for letting me go on and on and on.

I actually love fasting - It does make a difference in your health. Congratulations on your making this next step in your journey. The thought can be daunting, but rest assured, you will be successful :)

Thanks for your thoughts. I did the fast and feel great. I had a really odd sensation of warmth throught the later part of the day. I broke the fast with watermelon and bananas later on. I still haven't eaten much today. I feel good.

I plan on doing this every Monday.
