Hi all, i was a member here many many moons ago it feels, but was probably about 4 years ago. I've been a vegetarian for over 25 years, vegan for round 10 of those and I was raw vegan for around 2 years and have never felt better, i'll dig up my old before and after at some some stage.
My current path is i'm a mum to 3 beautiful and amazing girls aged 8,7 and 1.5. My youngest was brought to the world with special needs and i spend most dyas at doctors, pysio, OT, Speechies, signing classes, etc or just hospital. It's been a challenge to say the least but i wouldn't give up one day of it as she is an amazingly funny and fiesty girl who brings myself and her sisters the world of joy.
Where does Raw come into this you ask?
Well.....
When i was pregnant i got told to start eating fish and chicken at least to help as she wasn't growing, so i did. Then when she was born and still wasn't growing i got told to dig into the dairy to help boost my calcium in my milk so i did. Now when i had my other girls i wouldn't have listened for a second, but when you have a baby who is so so small and sick you'll try anything. But we have gotten to a stage now where my diet isn't as important to her not that it ever was as we now know she's small as she'll be lucky to hit 4foot fully grown.
So i'm about aas far off my path as i can get, meat, dairy and my archnemisis has reared it's ugly head....SUGAR!!!!!! my god that stuff is evil, i've given up hard drugs easier than that stuff!!!!
So i'm basically asking if someone would like to mentor me, push me, what ever it takes to get bak to a good place. I need help, to be babied through the first few weeks. I get maybe 5hours sleep anight in 1-2 hour blocks if i'm lucky so my strength is low.
ANyone willing to tell me what to eat for a few weeks and make me report back to them? I would be so so greatful, i need to be as strong as i can be for my daughter we have many many challenges ahead and i need more left over for my other girs to.
Blessing to all
Sally xx
