Hello everyone!!
I am back to this amazing lifestyle after three years of being in the dumps and 30lbs of sadness. I have been a vegetarian for 5 years and about a year in discovered raw foods. I was off and on and then finally did 6 months at 99% and felt incredible. Crazy life changes and I lost it although I maintained mostly vegan (darn cheese).
I am kicking off my raw rebirth with a water fast to heal & reboot. I am so excited to move forward after looking at all the amazing places the raw lifestyle has gone over the past three years.
When I was raw vegan I hung out here a lot as I have Alissa's book as well as a couple others. I am so excited to be back & can't wait to start enjoying the glow again!!

Please do tell us more about the cheese - you seem upset:confused:
I am kicking off my raw rebirth
rebirth - I like that word:D Where there is life, there is hope. As long as you're breathing you can have "a re-birth". So how days so far are you raw? I didn't go off raw for 3 years, it was more like one week on one week off raw, still not great but I'm determined this time to go raw permanently.
I would also like to see your opinion please on my thread about lines 10 below yours if could comment there please:)

Oh as far as the cheese, that and bread was my biggest downfall in the past couple years. I'm sure that's where the 30lbs came from. However what started my unrawness was just being away from home & little choice in what foods were available to me.
I have been fasting for the past 17 days so I guess they all count as being raw. I started my fast on March 4th. I like your buddy system idea. I know the only way I made it this far into my fast is through accountability with my vlogs. I plan on continuing them and starting a journal here once I break my fast.
Stay strong and don't beat yourself up emotionally if you slip up, just accept it, its part of life. I know in the past I would get so down on myself and say well here it goes. I would "ruin" the rest of the day and then the next day I would say well yesterday was jacked up why make today any better. No one is going to put you in jail, just do the best you can and strive to feel healthy and happy with what you are doing...it will all fall into place because its all part of your journey.
