I cheated on my first water fast :mad:

I planned a 3 day water fast and after 2 days I had the urge to throw up like when I'm feverish or had too much alcohol. So I kind of panicked at ate an orange, mind you it was way past midnight and I was being delusional. I feel like I cheated myself out of a unique experience—detox.

there's no room for guilt during a fast... only love.

it's okay to not enjoy detox. it's okay to stop it from happening. it's okay to make choices for yourself in the moment.

i had a lot of junk food/cook food cravings while on the water fast....but after my fast ended i became repulsed by those foods.....it's weird.....maybe a spiritual awakening.....and it taught me that we really don't need to eat as much as we think we do.....most of hunger is for comfort and not really food

those cravings are actually (in my opinion) you releasing the toxins you ingested with those foods in the past.

so i look at a craving as a release instead of a "gotta have it"

Indeed. While I was fasting I actually bought some junk food as a reward to mend those cravings. But I haven't touched them since my fast. I think you're right. I just wanted their company. :D
