Almost bedtime in Australia... time for my first post!

I've been raw for the last few days - yep 99%. No detox effect so far and strangely also no "food cravings" (though I am/was vegan for a long time, and always ate about 2-8 servings of fruit per day, maybe there were not many toxins to remove from my body). Anyway...

I've been eating heaps of yummy salad today!
breakfast: yummy green smoothie (bit of for baby spinach, half a banana, half an apple, teaspoon tahini)

lunch: yummy salad (green lettuce, 1 tomato, a bit of cucumber, bit of capsicum, bit of purple cabbage, and about 4 olives - are olives raw?!)

My afternoon snack started with an apple,
but unfortunately I watched a movie and I have this weird habit of eating a lot in front of the tv (I guess it is because we don't have a dining table - we are using our couch + coffee table, and every time I sit down on the couch, I associate the couch with eating)

Anyway - so I had a lot more fruit, bit of watermelon, 2 oranges, rest of the banana, 1 apple, 1 kiwi and some semi-sun-dried tomatoes (fat free, and super yummy), and a handful of walnuts.

went out for a session of Body jam

dinner: two more salads (see above)

I think that's it,
so heaps of food today,
but feeling good - not bloated or anything!

I am going out tonight and meeting my girls for pre-drinks. Not sure how I can get out of drinking - I really don't feel like it, but it seems like such a "must do". I think I am just going to say that I am on antibiotics at the moment. Or do you have any other ideas? I don't know the girls very well , so I don't feel comfortable sharing my diet changes with them (yet).

Thanks!

Hi=)

Today's plan..

-green smoothie (mixed baby greens, banana, water)
-baba ghanoush w/ celery
-car snacks..apple, lara bar, cashews, rest of celery sticks
-greenleaf tacos

Welcome aboard Karina=)

Woodville is 2 hours northeast of houston, near Lake Livingston. I like the area you are looking, too. There was a house in Magnolia I think, that had a huge raised bed garden. I mean huge, like 30 rows at least, a big greenhouse, a chicken coop, barn, composter, reverse osmosis water system..sigh..but it must have only been on the market for like 20 minutes..because I look almost everyday and the first time I saw it, it was sold...my point being-- there are a lot of cool houses, I hope you find one.=)

I am poised at the top of a precipice today. Oh, I am scared, excited, and leery, skeptical and mopey. I'll let you know=)

Hi All,

Today so far: between the hours of 1 pm and 6 pm

Green Smoothie - dandelion greens, soaked dates, orange, banana, frozen peaches, parsley, maca, ground flax, green supplement

Several dates (was craving sweet)

Leftover cauliflower "coleslaw" mix

Leftover crab pate (more like nut pate) with celery sticks

Apple with almond butter

I've been tending to eat a LOT right smack in the middle of the day, and not so much in the am or later in the pm.

****** Back later to add the following:

Couple of handfuls of pumpkin seeds
Two pickles

I need to drink more water!!! Ever since I stopped adding lemon, it's been difficult for me to drink as much as I was. But I couldn't keep up with the lemon, not good for the teeth.

g'night

Go ahead with your girls and have a glass of red wine, skip hard alcohol and beer if you want to enjoy yourself the closest to clean would be red wine

also i eat olives but they aren't really raw. There are raw olives, but i don't have the cash so when i am feeling like olives i'll eat them, but otherwise i try not to.

thanks :)! I love red wine so that's a good thing to know. We all decided to be lazy instead tonight though... so no dancing/drinking for me tonight. I watched nemo instead (yes, my life is very exciting) ;)!
