My office at work is having a St. Patrick's Day potluck. Any suggestions on what I can bring? They're making it rather potato-centric, so I'd like to get away from that theme. Something tells me they wouldn't like raw potatoes...

I just saw a recipe in Alissa's book "Living on Live Foods", for potato salad..it looks divine. It even states that it is a huge hit among raw and sad eaters..if you want to stay on the potato theme.
If not, why not bring a huge salad with Mrs Ackerly's dressing, it is soo good.
Or make a raw cheese, like Almond Feta cheese or zucchini hummus, bring regular SAD crackers or veggies to dip.
Make it easy on yourself

Farmer-Style Cheese – Green for St. Patty’s
1-1/2 cups Soaked Cashews
1 Tbs Miso
1 Pinch Salt
1 tsp Coconut Oil
3/4 Cup Fresh Water
Place soaked/rinsed Cashews in blender with Miso, Salt, Oil, and half the Water.
Start blending on low, turning up speed slowly.
Add more Water as necessary to keep mixture pulling down to the bottom of the blender.
Add Italian Parsley and blend until Green!
When cheese has reached desired consistency, it is ready to eat. You can also hang it in a double layer of cheesecloth to achieve a firmer, tangier cheese.

It is St. Patty's Day! How about something green! Expand their horizons and bring 'em a green smoothie. :D Or at least a green salad. ;)

How about a green lemonade made with limes apples and some lime skin with ginger and honey. Or maybe some green chili peppers with cashew chese inside topped with cilantro or a thin slices of cucumber ?
