High Raw Day 30!! OW OW!!

I need me some GREEN Healing Power!! :D


2.5 Liters of Water
BREAKFAST: 9 Lrg Strawberries + Smoothie: 1 1/4 Cups of Apple Juice + 2 Cups of Kale + 1 Frozen Banana + 1 Cup of Frozen Pineapple + 1 Pear + 1 Kiwi
SNACK: 2 Cups of Baby Corn + 1 tsp of Mexican Chili Powder +
LUNCH: Lrg Green Salad: Pulsed: 4 Cups of Bok Choy + 3 Lrg Tomatoes + 10 Shiitake Mushrooms + 6 Cups of Chinese Lettuce + 1/2 1/4 Sweet Onion + 1 Garlic Clove + 2 Tsp’s of Oregano + 2 Tsp’s of Mexican Chili Powder + a squeeze or two of lime juice +1 lrg carrot + 2 Cups of Chinese Lettuce + 1 cup of water
SNACK: Pulsed: 2 Cups of Apple Pulp + Cinnamon +1/4 tsp Nutmeg+ Water + ginger +
SUPPER: Green Smoothie:
SNACK: 1 red Grapeftuit

Congrats on day 30, Raw.n.it.out..you go!!
Today is day 30 (all raw)for me as well, and I am hooked..I told myself "let's do this for 30 days and then we reaccess"..well I don't need to reaccess..I am hooked.

B- green, well rather blue smoothie= 2 c collard greens, 1.5 c blueberries, 1 banana
S-glass of grapefruit juice
L-left over enchilada..w/ sourcream
S-3 clementines, some pineapple and handful of mixed nuts.
Dinner- Guacamole salad ..

Hi RawN' and Basenjimamma,

It's day 28 for me, more or less. And I'm loving it.

So far today has been simple:

Breakfast: carrot ginger juice

Lunch: fantastic green smoothie: strawberries, pineapple, orange, banana, dandelion greens, kale, maca, ground flax, and green supplement

Early Dinner: Had a craving so whipped up some of Alissa's zucchini pasta w/ marinara... so good! also scooped up the extra marinara with flax crackers. Quite satisfied and full.

I hope you guys keep posting=) And Congratulations! I'm so proud of you!=)

Okay, here's today

-a raw chocolate bar thing--was okay but like a flat rp brownie..nothing I'll buy again..but I was so excited to see raw food in my wf..had to try it

-some cayenne salted pecans

-cinnamon doughnut holes from rawmazing--they are rawmazing, but have evaporated cane juice..I made them for my kids and have had a few

-asian salad bar--
romaine leaves filled with cukes,bean sprouts, cilantro, basil
mushrooms w/ bell pepper, cukes, bean sprouts, etc

not sure what I'm having tonight yet, but snacking on a lara bar and kale chips.

I bought an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini today at a thrift shop. maybe one day this summer...

Well, thank you.
My balance is..when in doubt or nibbly..snack..so I snack..it works for me, I have lost 9.1 lbs in 29 days..not bad for an already pretty slim gal.

I just ordered myself a new bikini as well..smaller size then I have ever ordered...we'll see if it fits..
..and yes, I will still be here..makes me feel accountable..

aw, thanks guys.

I have to admit, this time around it doesn't seem too challenging. Now that I have a VitaMix and a dehydrator, along with Alissa's book & cd... well, I am absolutely loving pretty much everything I eat! Plus, I'm not too hard on myself. If I want to eat a thousand dates, a million cashews, and a boatload of avocados, I do. But I'm finding that I don't. ;)

I haven't weighed myself, but feel as though I am trimmer. My husband playfully swatted my belly the other day and was shocked! He said he was expecting squishy and instead it was quite firm. heh.

I am so thankful for everyone on these boards. You all have been a great help on this journey. So, thank you!!!

Today :)

A banana dipped in almond butter
Coconut water with its meat blended up (this feels like a milkshake to me)
Another banana dipped in almond butter :)
Handful of raisins
Bowl of baby romaine lettece with a little dressing
another handful of raisins
Some celery sticks
Some dates


and congratulations from me as well! I am feeling too that this is becoming less of a challenge, the challenge seemed to be whether or not I could change my eating habits, and they are being changed :)
