I've been eating only fruits and water for several days, maybe a week or more, and yesterday I had an almond shake with some cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, today, I could smell the vanilla and spices in my urine.
How weird is this? Or have I just never noticed it before?
Anyone else notice spices affect the fragrance of your urine?
Just wondered, seemed odd to me, only because this is my first experience with it.

Wow, interesting RP!
I haven't noticed any sweet smells like that, but I DO notice that it doesn't really have that "pee-smell" to it and it's not yellow but rather clear almost like water. Don't know if that's a good or bad sign, but it's what I've noticed as far as urinary changes go since being raw.

thanks Rawkie, yes, I've noticed almost clear, and usually no fragrance, this was just strange.
And Sweetgoddess, we'll have to ask our resident Fae Vegan Vixen if she too has this phenomenon.
thanks for answering, I wasn't sure if I should actually post this, but thought, what the heck, it's no weirder than our usual chats. LOL

I can tell you when my husband takes his vitamins his urine looks and smells like them. So I dont think it is unusual!

my husband and I have noticed countless times how eating various foods affects our smell, both in our armpits, and elsewhere (you know what I mean). For example, after eating durian, we can clearly smell it in our armpits. Indian spices have the same effect on our smell. Feed us cooked food, and we will stink horribly (this is why we can tell by smell if the other one had something cooked, and so no cheating works in my family). I say, "You smell what you eat!".:)
All the best,
Gosia.

Before I stopped drinking coffee I would smell it when I went to the bathroom, vitamins also, so I don't think its unusual at all. Yeah, maybe its just that you've never noticed it before.
"You smell what you eat!".:)
Best stay AWAY from the durians, then!
LOL :D
