So I decided to break my juice fast today. I was starring at the cantalope that I was going to throw into the juicer and I started to think about when I was a kid. My mom used to make these hors d'ourves that were slices of cantalope wrapped in pastrami and topped with cracked black pepper. They were that yummy combo of sweet, salty, and a little bit spicy. So I got this idea that I could re-create that tast with some brags liquid amino and cracked pepper. Guess what? It tasted just like I was hoping it would. Super simple too.

Slice cantalope
Sprinkle with brags
crack pepper to taste

I can't even imagine putting pepper on cantaloupe. Just the the thought of it makes me cringe. :confused:

I had thought about the nori too. Just didn't have any on hand. Will try that next time.
