This is so good, had to share for those who don't know. Slice an apple into quarters, take a couple of soft dates and press around the apple chunks and it tastes like caramel apples. Yum :D

I recently got a big box of dates from The Date People. I've been thinking of different ways of eating them and I remembered this trick. (I think I probably read about it on here sometime back).

Edit: Ok, I tried it! Delicious as expected, with added points for not having the "my teeth are giong to hate me for this" sensation standard candy apples offer. ;)

If you haven't tried stuffing them with nuts, drizzling in chocolate sauce, and freezing... well... yea it's some yummy.
