I have the Sunny paté recipe and a couple of others but just thought I'd try to teach myself to go without recipes. I vary the ratio and types of nuts and I always add lemon juice and dulse/kelp (I don't use salt of any kind), so those are my staples. But I'm curious to see what you all do to vary the taste.
Other than making a recipe from a book, I haven't figured out the trick of making different "varieties" of paté from some basic ingredients.
p.s., I really, really love Alissa's spinach dip from the book but I sometimes don't have spinach or avocado (like today). So hoping for some ideas. The neat thing about nut patés is it's so easy to have the dry ingredients pretty much always on hand.
Thanks. :)
