My little winter garden is producing much cilantra. Does anyone have tasty GS recipes using cilantra? I know pineapple with cilantra GS tastes quite good. Any other good combinations?

I like pears, spinach, and cilantro.

I also put cilantro in a smoothie based on Sarma's "Green Shake". Sounds weird, but it is very tasty. I eat it with a spoon.

Cut the peels off a grapefruit and lemon, (leaving the pith). Put in blender with a cucumber (I peel that it, unless it is organic), vanilla and sweetener of your choice (agave, honey, or stevia). Blend until smooth. Blend in lots of cilantro or parsley, and spinach or kale, until it is very thick. Cut peel off a lime, leaving the pith, blend in lightly in at the end leaving little chunks of lime to chew on.

Thanks for replies. I am going to try all of your recipes. I am glad that there are cilantra fans around here, for I read that some people cannot tolerate cilantra.

Once upon a time it was only for salsa. Since I learned it was one of two foods (the other is chlorella) that can remove mercury from the body, I started putting it in smoothies.

Try mango, cilantro, cucumber, and a little cinnamon. Yum!
