My mom was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. The doctor said she could drop dead any minute, yet they gave her three different kinds of pills to take and didn't tell her a single thing about what to eat and what not to eat.

I told her not to take the pills and to eat no more meat and dairy, but she trusts the doctors pills more. I don't know what would be acceptable for her to eat, like if high sugar fruits are a no-no. I need some suggestions on what kind of food to feed her, the only thing I can do is make the food and hand it to her.

Thanks.

Two words: Gabriel Cousens.

I'm sorry about your Mum's diagnosis, but you boys are here, you're mostly Raw, and you KNOW what you need to help Mom do now. :) It's time for Mum to go Raw.

I was going to suggest the same, Gabriel Cousens MD.

You can find his books on Amazon and you should be able to find him on YouTube. I watched a video of one of his talks and he said they have a 98% success rate on reversing Type2 diabetes.

You might like to take a look at his site, Tree of Life Rejuvination Center (http://www.treeoflife.nu/home-index/).

I don't know what foods to recommend first hand, but hopefully someone will be able to help you out with that. My best to you and your family!

Didn't tell her anything!!! Typical. If we don't ask the right questions, we don't get the right answers.

Depending on how high her blood pressure and blood sugar are, medication might be the way to go for now. Doses can be lowered or medication stopped as the situation improves.

With you doing research, advocating for her, and helping her, I have no doubt it can be turned around. Best wishes to all of you.
