...mmmm..just made some and they are "baking" in Sir Excellences tummy ( my excalibur)..wow, if they taste half as good done as the batter did..whew.
Most of my "batter" didn't make it into the dehydrator..it was eaten with spoon in hand..highly recommend. Recipe from LOLF.

I also have a Carrot Cake "baking" and will tell you all about it when it is done..but again the batter is a winner. This recipe I got somewhere, similar to the one in LOLF but a little more yummy-ness added.
Thanks for letting me share my yummies..

Yes, I second that. Pictures? Recipes?

I might just have to make my fav. raw lemon cookies (http://therawtarian.com/raw-lemon-cookie-recipe/) and throw some poppy seeds in. :)

oohh..so sorry

I have been out of the loop but here it is..From LOFL..

1 c almonds
3/4 c dates, pitted and soaked
1/2 c freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 TB sp poppy seeds.

Blend almonds in foodprocessor until fine.
Add in dates and lemon juice, process until fine.
Add in poppy seeds and blend until they are mixed in well.
Spoon out small round balls or flat cookies onto mesh dehydrator sheets (no teflex needed)
Dehudrate for 3-4 hours at 105 degrees.

Some of my cookies never made it into the dehdrator and boy they still rocked.
Carrot cake coming in the next post..

Delicious Carrot Cake serves 4-6 peeps.

Cake
3/4 c crated/shredded carrots
1/4 c fresh moist dates (although I used dried, that had been soaked for 2 hours)
1TBsp flax seed, ground
4TBsp coconut shredds
1 tsp vanilla
2 TB sp agave (although I used honey)
2TB sp cashews
1/4-1/2 c raisins ( not soaked)
1/4 TBsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/2 c chopped nuts
1/4 tsp salt

Bkend dates until they are a paste then add everything else except for nuts, raisins and about a handful of carrot shavings.
Add nuts, raisins and carrot to blend and pulse until well blended.
Mold into desired shape on mesh dehydrator sheet and dehydrate 4 hours at 110 degrees( I did it at 105) or until firm enough to hold frosting.

Frosting
1 c cashews (soaked in water for 2-3 hours)
4 TBsp agave (I used honey)
2 TBsp orange juice
2 TBsp coconut butter or oil
1/2-1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt

Process in food processor until smooth and creamy.
Smother cake and enjoy.

Sounds like a lotta lemon juice in the cookies. 1/2 cup? Oh, and what are "sp" poppy seeds? Sorry so many questions.

Just checking. Thanks for sharing!
