I was just watching a raw foodist video on youtube where they described how they boiled up the pulp to make some kind of broth or soup. They didn't show how it was done but would love to give it a go. Any ideas on how to make a soup from it and is it worth doing nutritionally and any other uses for pulp?

I just can't imagine that a raw foodie would boil it up! But yes, there would be nutrients. I'd guess you could then add water and put in a Vita-Mix with celery, a little salt etc. In the old days, I used to save carrot pulp and cook it in muffins etc.

But I have really been getting into making raw veggie patties (burgers)with the pulp. Of course, you've gotta keep an eye on what you're putting in there --like you wouldn't want wheatgrass pulp, or a lot of kale stems, but I actually just got done eating some burgers made with 4 carrots, 1 apple, 2 stalks celery, 1 zuke, garlic, parsley. then I added some onion, little olive oil, mustard, dill.....

No time now, but if you look for a thread that goes something like "Nutless Recipes Wanted" it's under there.

Yummmm that sounds good! With my fruit pulp the comes out of my juicer, I have made some mighty fine dehydrated cookies! When I put pineapple only pulp in there, in comes out this wonderfully delicious, melt-in-your mouth candy!
