Hi, everyone.
I've been doing the raw challenge for about a week now. I'm a college student who was addicted to fried and high-sugared junk food only a week ago. I gained a bit of weight, got a LOT of acne, and felt lethargic and gross almost all of the time. I was so toxic that I became depressed. My depression made me anti-social and sedentary. My lack of exercise made me more toxic. A vicious cycle. It was time for me to change.
Ever since I started the challenge, I noticed a lot of physical and emotional changes in me. I feel so much happier and lighter. I already lost 5 lbs. (which is AMAZING to me because I've always struggled with my weight). I'm still a bit anti-social right now due to my acne-ridden face, but I have good friends who try to draw me out.
My main goal for going through with this challenge is to detoxify, get healthier, and learn good habits. My physical goals are to have a clear, glowing face, lose about 25 lbs. (103 lbs is within the healthy weight range for my height. I'm a short person.), and live past 100 years. =)
