I bought a big bag of garbanzo beans for hummus. (I love cooked hummus.) Then the raw hummus I made turned out not tasty--just like raw beans

So now I have to think of ways of using these beans. I am growing some of these beans into grass just like wheatgrass. I heard some kinds of grass (such as buckwheat grass) are toxic. No caution against barbanzo bean grass I hope?

Or, does anyone have a tasty raw recipe for garbanzo beans?

they will sprout for you but they will start to grow into a plant with leaves, not a grass like wheatgrass. i dont know about toxicity... it seems if they are ok sprouted and not toxic then the small shoots woudl be ok, but i dont know for sure
ive had pea shoots (small pea plants) that alot of people are a fan of but i found them kind of tough and stringy
