I am into my 8th day on a MC, and am trying not to dwell on this - I spent the weekend with my grandson and daughter, and they both now have the stomach flu....

What part are you dwelling on? Do you think you gave them the flue or that you'll get the flu?

That's what I'm wondering. What's to dwell on?

Hard to say not knowing all of the circumstances, but a doctor once told me that most things we call stomach flu are actually a bacterial infection that is food borne. If that is the case, and you are MCing, there is a good chance you may miss the 'bug' this time.
Sending positive thoughts!

I think you'll be fine. You're detoxing right now so you'll probably detox whatever comes your way without even knowing it!

Sometimes people tend to pull towards sickness not wellness. Think about how well and wonderful you feel.

What she said. You get what you focus on.

Something like that is going around here. My mom had it and then daughter, then me! Upset stomach and headache. Seemed to last about 3 days with the worst of it being the first day. It was unpleasant but not debilitating. We just slept a lot and drank plenty of water.

Unfortunately, it took me to suffer two, TWO, bouts of "the stomach flu" since moving to Brazil to make this decision to transition to raw/vegan lifestyle.

I think it is very unlikely, that you will get stomach flu while fasting. Even if my whole family gets a cold, if I fast, I don't. You are detoxing already, you body doesn't need it.

That's absolutely true. it is also tru, that our surroundings are full of viruses and bacteria. But they can't do anything to a healthy strong imune system body.
