I woke up today (after being really sick & puking & not being able to keep anything down for the past two days) CRAVING jalapenos! So I am going to pick some up today. I do NOT like them raw and crunchy though. Does anyone have any good recipes? I was thinking of maybe making a "cheeze" sauce and stuffing halves with it and then dehydrating for a few hours. What else can I do? I've never craved jalapenos before, this is weird! LOL!

ya i do that all the time but why oh why would you do that to your body??? you've been vomiting and that's what you give your body in return?
how about some bananas or soft fruits for a few days. cause honestly... it's like breaking a fast for your body... be gentle!

I don't know, lol. I just have this INTENSE craving that won't go away. I've been eating bananas and applesauce this morning but I can't get the jalapeno craving out of my mind!

sometimes what we crave isn't what our body needs... especially after a fast ;) just a thought...

well, that's why I'm gonna wait a day or so on the jalapenos. I'm going to go buy some but I won't be making them yet. I've been doing bananas, applesauce and lots of juice today and I will stick to that. but if tomorrow comes and I'm still feelin' the jalapeno love, watch out!:p

Jalapeno lemonade. Slice some deseeded jalapenos and add them to fresh squeezed lemonade, let soak for ten minutes, then remove the peppers.

streetsurfer, that. sounds. amazing! I'm going to add some to my "green" lemonade tomorrow and see how it tastes. Sounds deliscious! I always forget about mixing "opposites" like that!

Yum, those poppers sound so good!
I add jalapenos (or serranos) to one of my favorite green smoothies all the time. Spinach/cilantro, avacado, lime, garlic, salt, water, jalapeno. It's like a glass of creamy green salsa.
They are good in corn chowder and also thick indian curry sauces.
You could marinate them to soften them some, or cook them in the dehydrator to soften them up and make...
-jalapeno burgers
-shishkabobs w/pineapple, red onion, jalapeno, mushrooms etc
-BBQd portobello mushrooms w/ jalapeno
-portobello fajitas w/green leaf tortillas
-spicy jalapeno crackers w/creamy macadamia cheese and jalapeno honey jelly
-stir fry jalapenos and vegetables w/ parsnip rice
What isn't better with jalapenos?=)
