The following I posted in my Journal area, but I have a question at the end and was hoping for some feed back, thanks!

I came home and allowed myself a "cheat" meal. This is something I have always done while transitioning to something different in my life. Knowing if I stick with it and can go back for a day helps me to stay on path. Eventually my "cheat" day becomes extinct when I don't crave it anymore.

In this instance it looks like it will become extinct REALLY quick! I drank beer last night and I feel simply awful today! I didn't drink enough to merit this feeling, I guess my body is just telling me to keep that kind of stuff out of it! LOL

Anyway, I am drinking herbal tea and had a banana and some grapes, I feel some better, but I am really kicking myself for wasting my money, time, and energy on something my body doesn't want or need. I guess it is part of the learning curve, my body is talking and this time I am all ears.

Any suggestions on what helps and achy, weak, body come to life more quickly....cold tomato soup perhaps?

Probably just rest and lots of liquids! :)

Hope you feel better soon. Isn't it great to learn from mistakes?!

I find that on the Raw diet the body is more sensitive to alcohol consumption.

Try this if you have (everyone needs one ) a Juicer. ;)

A large bunch of Kale, a head of Romaine Lettuce, 1 sweet apple, a whole lemon (opt. few stalks of Celery and 1 tsp or to taste of Ginger. (got this from Natalie Rose's Book)

This drink will make you feel terrific. It is FULL of enymes and minerals. Very Healing.

My husband who is not a Raw foodie Loves it and I always make an extra one for him.

I have it every morning for Breakfast and if I worked out add some hemp or superseed Protein powder. It keeps me going w/o hunger cravings till afternoon.

I would make sure to drink some wheatgrass juice today. In fact, I had a glass of wine last night, so that's what I'm going to do. I'll also make extra sure to drink enough water.
