View Full Version : 4th day raw and questions

Today is my 4th day 100% raw and I am wondering if loosing weight to fast is an issue.

I started on monday with the 100% raw (have been raw until dinner for a little more than a year prior,m witha few goof ups) and on tuesday I weighed myself to have a baseline..153.9 lbs, right out of bed, naked weight.

Today I weighed myself and I am at 149.8 lbs, right out of bed, naked....that is a lot of weight in just two days, no?
I should mention that I am 6' tall, so weight really isn't something I have to get off, but would like to get a few pudge areas taken care of..

I usually work out fairly hard, but have stayed away from the gym this week, as I tend to get ravenous when I work out hard and I didn't want to set myself up to fail. I will go to the gym today though..

Do you think I have lost muscle or just plain weight? I'd hate to loose muscle, since it is so hard for me to gain it, being tall and slender...even when I was on a higher, "more according to regular folks normal muscle" protein diet..

Diet is fruit or green smoothies until lunch time, then big salad, spinach usually with 1/2 of a avocado and other veggies, snack on almonds, only an ounce, more fruit if hungry until dinner, dinner is salad again or zucchinipasta with raw marinara sauce (yumm-o)..so far.
I know I need to change my diet up but I am doing it slow to learn the right way..excalibur is coming tomorrow, I have read almost the whole book by Alissa..few more recipes to look through..

Any thoughts, ideas or what have you would be appreciated..

In the beginning you might be releasing buildup in your colon or other somewhat superficial weight issues. Still makes you look and feel great... but we can only lose so much actual fat at a time, as humans.

I gauge most things based on how I actually feel.
