Can i Sprout these, I'm especially concerned about the coco beans, as i hear beans can be toxic, notice these are coco, not cacao, i bought a massive bag by mistake... hehe
I have a germinator and alfalfa seed on the way in the post and a budget of about £1.90 on my card and i really want to start sprouting now!

also in search of some good price websites shipping to the UK, or way i can recycle/make my own seeds to ultimately stop spending money on food
Hi ThatsLife ~ SproutPeople (http://sproutpeople.com/) has great info on sprouting. I did a quick search there for flax (also called linseed) and sesame, they had info on both. *Ü*

so flax is the same as linseed?
Any idea's on the coco beans, i realized i got some mung bean so they are in there now with a few linseed, forgot to soak them, reckon it will matter much?

That's my understanding - that flax and linseed are one in the same.
Any idea's on the coco beans,
I don't know anything about coco beans...

I don't understand what you mean here? What are they 'in'? I don't know what you're doing with them...

will the coco beans be safe to eat sprouted and will the linseed and mung sprout if unsoaked?
I've never sprouted flax or linseed - I've only soaked them to use in recipes such as crackers. They get very gelatinous.
I've sprouted mung beans many times but always soaked them overnight first. I don't know if they'd sprout without being soaked first. *Ü*

i think the mung beans will sprout fine in your biosnacky germinator, if its the round one. i think it says you dont need to presoak to use that sprouter.
what are coco beans?

i dont think i would try using those coco beans raw :(
many types of beans cannot be used raw (toxins or whatever), even if they are sprouted
the ones that are ok are
lentils
mung beans
adzuki beans (small brownish red)
chickpeas
black beans and kidney beans and i think white beans HAVE to be cooked in order to not make you sick.
as for the supplements/superfoods...i dont know, ive never noticed a difference using things like maca, except a larger credit card bill, lol. some people have results with these things, but they are expensive and may not really be necessary. you might be better off to spend your money on more organic greens and stuff...or choose one of the superfoods at a time that you'd like to try, use it, see if it makes a difference, and then decide whether to buy more. if you buy a bunch at once you could end up spending alot of money repeatedly for something that doesnt seem to make a difference for you.
ps if youre a gardener, goji berries can apparently be grown in a wide range of climates.

thats life, look at www.pfaf.org. plants for a future website. they are really amazing and in england too so they would be your best resource perhaps on what grows well there. they focus on sustainable permaculture and also wild plants you can eat etc.
