Preventing Mosquito Bites

Hello! This is a little bit random but I am wondering if anyone has noticed that mosquitos stay away by eating raw (besides the garlic thing).

my son is 10 and has been raw vegan for 4 years. Here he is in the Caribbean last year covered with mosquito bites. It was all happening while he slept so we got mosquito nets and the problem was solved!
