Asking for a friend. She wants to know if someone with "yeast issues" can still eat nutritional yeast or if it is a no-no. Anyone know?

The quote below is from the website (http://www.qnhshop.com/product.php?productid=16274&cat=262&page=1) for the nutritional yeast that I use. All Nutritional yeast is NOT equal, which is why I like this brand. In my opinion, it tastes the best, too.
"Nutritional yeast is a primary grown food yeast (non-fermenting), called Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is not a pathogenic yeast and does not cause Candida or other yeast infections."

Used to get yeast infections constantly. Went all raw. No more yeast issues. I use nutritional yeast occasionally.
My partner suffered from Systemic Candida for years. He will NOT eat most of my fermented foods and avoids nutritional yeast, but I know others who had Candida and after going raw, tolerate it just fine.
So... I don't know? :D
