I saw some whole cacao beans at WF and am wondering what to do with them. Does anyone have any experience with using them? Thanks!

I just use them in recipes as if they were cacao nibs or powder... assuming that blending them is involved in the recipe. You could chop or grind them a bit and put them in strawberry or banana ice cream.

I eat them as is.....they are really good if you eat a raisin 1st, followed by the whole bean - it makes it taste super chocolatey! ;)

Ok, thanks. There's no seed in the middle? I googled it and some sites said to boil/soak and then peel them first.
