This is where I'm at: I'm pretty thin (last weight was 113 & I'm 5'4") but I still carry some excess in my mid section. I work out alot & obviously eat raw & am pretty toned for the most part in other areas of my body. I was wondering if I could still be holding toxins in that would be affecting my mid-section & if a detox would help?
Any suggestions or stories from anyone would be great :)
P.S. I just posted a thread to see if anyone wants to do the Master Cleanse with me.

Sometimes we have areas where lymph can't flow freely, and there are certain forms of exercise that helps to open the flow. One of them is t-tapp. It is very form specific, and it can actually spot reduce, even though mainstream fitness experts say it is not possible. I am actually doing it while juice fasting and I feel better after I do it. Also dry skin brushing- I didn't try it yet. Mainly, because I almost always take a shower after the workout and I am sweaty, not dry. And you supposed to take shower after it.

Thanks! I'm glad someone responded :)
What is t-tapp? And did you also say dry skin brushing helps? I'm kinda curious about that cause I don't quite get how that would work? I just brush my mid section???

The best is to brush your whole body with more attention you the area you think is sluggish. T-tapp is an exercise program, that was created by Teresa Tapp, who is into rehab type fitness, so it is safe. It focuses on opening the lymph flow and nerve communication with a brain. Basically she uses balance and specific postures. They are kind of weird, nothing we are used to. The poses don't look as nice as in yoga, but I think, it works - when I fast, and feel a bit tired, after I do them - I actually feel more energetic. She builds a lot of inner muscle too, so your weight actually can increase without increasing your size.

Have fun with your fast and t-tapp! If you like it, you can join their forum-there are tons of tips there on form, which is very important. After the first days my glutes were hurting, so I asked a question there, and I found out, that I was tucking my butt without involving stomach. Once I did that - no more pain. And the shoulders back should come from lifting your ribs up(not out and up, just straight up.)
