I soak them for at least 30 minutes first, in filtered water, (9 parts water, 1 part seeds) shaking it up several times the first few minutes so the seeds don't clump together.

I've read about grinding them dry and adding to smoothies. Haven't tried that myself.

My absolute favorite chia pudding is a recipe from another raw site, (Can't link to the site, but I am thankful to the original poster. :D) So easy to make and ready to eat in 30 minutes.

"Rice" Pudding

1/2 cup almond milk
1 Tablespoon chia seeds
1 Tablespoon dried shredded coconut
2 Tablespoons raisins
1 Tablespoon honey or agave
couple drops of vanilla extract
sprinkle of cinnamon

Put all ingredients in a jar. Stir/Shake up until honey is dissolved. Continue shaking several times during the first few minutes until seeds start to gel. Put in fridge for at least 30 minutes.

LOVE IT!!!

If you look at the threads I created on here, you will find plenty of recipes for chia pudding. Also, there's an article on Sirova about the benefits of chia seeds. Will post it when I have a little time, I'm super overwhelmed right now!
