hey everyone, i need a quick dessert i can scrounge up that isn't too hard to make
i have agave, dates, dried coconut, carob, avocados, a little nuts, coconut oil
any idea on how to whip something up?
You might like Jennifer Cornbleet's recipe for Chocolate Mousse (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmoW7a9IBrg). I make it with and without the crust. I think it's great! I've made it several times.
I haven't tried it with carob yet though, I've been using up my organic cocoa powder. But I'm trying carob next time. *Ü*

That's just what I was going to suggest.

If you blend all of that together (in somewhat sensical proportions) ((excluding the http://www.vegepatch.com.au/gfx/icons/avocado.jpg)) you will have raw devil food cake.

I did the jennifer cornbleet chocolate mouse tart, it was pretty good.
Both kids ate it - DS had 2nd helpings!
Still - very hard for me to give up 2 prime avocados to make it!!! I mean seriously!!!
All told - ingredients cost about 15:eek:
But it was valentines, had to make a sweetie for my little sweeties!
Even though they're not so little anymore!
Avos are something I don't buy organic (although our Walmart carries them in organic). I buy them at Costco for about $6-$7 for 5 big Haas avocados. Works well for us. *Ü*
