I have been raw now 3 days. Ha...doesn't sound that long, but I'm coming from a really clean vegan diet. I woke up this morning feeling AMAZING. It might be because I went to the sauna yesterday.

Anyway, I am a medical intuitive and craniosacral therapist, but also work as a vegan private chef. Today I was cooking for clients and made this cuban black bean soup that was pretty good, so I said, what the heck and had a small bowl of it.

Within 20 min, that super great, "high" vibe, super peaceful feeling I had was gone and I was *slightly* down...that did it for me. I really, really proved to myself the effects of cooked food, even "good" cooked. Maybe steamed veggies would be the least vibrationally negative, but why do it? I feel SO good raw...so clear, so relieved from stress. I just don't want to compromise that. It feels too good!

Nothing like learning from experience. I had a whole jar of pasteurized olives today and felt quite gross. It didn't last long though my body's slick like that.

My experiences with raw are the reason that I am still raw. I have slipped a few times and each slip has shown me clearly the differences in the way I feel eating raw as opposed to eating cooked. Its the times when I have slipped that are my motivation for staying raw.

yes, exactly! Its so motivating to slip and so clearly see the difference between cooked and raw. This experience was so profound for me. I've been doing raw on and off (way more off than on) for 20 years, but today was the first time I felt it so obviously. I guess maybe I'm FINALLY ready to be 100%. I feel like I'm mature enough now, and my "vibration" can handle it now. Thank GOD...I have wanted this for a very long time. I think being vegan for that long before now helped too.
