detox symptom...

sorry for the girly question, I hope you guys out there don't mind...
So in the past month I have been 60-90% raw starting from 60 and building up to it...
And this month I had the worst cramps during my period, like never before. Also, it was much heavier...
Is that a symptom of detoxing???

But I think I can top you on that one. There was a period of a few months about 6 -9 month into raw, where I kept getting the "let down" feeling when you nurse a baby. I hadn't nursed in about 12 years - so it was odd to say the least.

Clearing things up? Could well be.

I had to take ibuprofen for pain with my periods for years - first only day 1, then day 2 as well. After going raw, it took about 3 months before I could stand it without the pain pills - spending much time in an epsom salt bath. After about 6 months I was ok - slightly crampy, but not debilitatingly so. After about 10 months, I was pretty ok, could work, travel for work etc.

I had also lost a bit of weight by then and was exercising regularly for the first time in at least 5 years. Lots of ab work can help with cramps....strengthening everything up....
