These are fantastic! I make them every week. This recipe makes about 10 dehydrator trays of crackers which is quite a lot. You may want to adjust it to your needs.
Ingredients:
Tomatoes - 8 medium, quartered
Sunflower seeds - 1 1/2 cups soaked
Sesame seeds - 1 1/2 cups soaked
Mexican seasoning - 1 TB
Garlic - 6-8 cloves, as desired.
Dulse to taste
Directions:
Put half the tomatoes in your Vitamix with half the garlic. Blend 'till liquified. Add half the sunflower and sesame seeds. Blend 'till smooth. Pour into a large bowl. Repeat with other half. Pour into the bowl. Add 1 heaping TB of Mexican seasoning. Add dulse to taste. (I've never measure the amount of dulse I put in. I'd guess I put in about 4-5 TBs. If you use sea salt, you could probably substitute, adding however much as you like.) Mix well. With a ladle, spoon the batter onto teflex. The chips should be about 2 inches in diameter. After filling the tray, tap each side of the tray on the counter to flatten the batter.
Dehydrate 'till dry.
