ok... so I have had my blender for a few weeks now. Umm.... When I blend stuff it often makes an unpleasant noise. I have to use the tamper to keep things flowing properly more often then I think I should. There is no info on the website for problems... I don't know what to do.

The bender does not lock onto the base stand which I found odd but could not find any info if it is supposed anyway. it sounds sometimes like the meta is grinding together sometimes if it decides for the moment it doesn't like sitting like that. I checked to see if there is scratching or any evidence of grinding but there is nothing. what do i do.

I hope nothing is wrong. help me!!

Call VitaMix! I had a faulty one and they replaced it no charge.

I'm not sure what you mean by "there is no info on the website for problems." Of course there is:

they can make an unpleasant noise - if you start it at too high a speed or if there's a lot of hard or frozen stuff it there. and if you don't add enough liquid you'll need to tamper stuff down. like lately i've been enjoying my smoothies more ice cream-y than juice-y so i add 1 cup water instead of 2, and i need to tamper w/ less water.

it is kinda annoying the blender doesn't lock onto the base but alas. you get used to it :)

thats good advise. I kind of figured it needed more liquid but I thought that since it was vitamix it woudn't have the problem.I don't start anything on too high of a speed. Always at one then work my way up.

and what I meant by no problem info is they dont have anything listed on the website other then phone number.... I dont know if I should bother calling.
