woke up this morning w/ a horrible migraine - i don't know if it's detox so much as me attempting to adjust to new glasses - urgh! finally stopped feeling like death and now i'm having a fruit salad - 2 kiwis, 1 banana, grapes, hemp seeds.
b = watermelon (you gotta love when the serve fruit at business meetings!!!)
l = granny smith apples and maybe some raw cashews or a green smoothie
d = whatever lokks good tonight at the produce store

B: smoothie consisting of kale, delicious apple, and a pear - super yummy
L: peach and orange
S: orange
D: guacamole and carrots if my avocado is ripe...if not, mushrooms and salsa with loads of black pepper

Ha....I missed yesterday's posting, so I meant to post here about that this morning, but posted there instead!

hi everyone! I woke up this morning (er, afternoon) and was just bowled over by how peaceful and silent and beautiful it was in my room. I felt super aware, almost like i woke up in a state of meditation. I don't usually wake up that way! Usually I wake up grouchy and needing music and someone to talk to. I guess i'm feeling more balanced.
just had some breakfast -- a banana dipped in cacao powder yum
i have another tub of arugala waiting for me for lunchtime, and i'll probably crave an avocado later.

Hello All! I've been a bit headachey too, not sure what's going on with that. I'm munching some flax crackers and the end of my sunflower seed pate right now, I had a green smoothie for breakfast, and I've got a salad and a green smoothie for the rest of the day. Also some almonds and dried pineapple if I get hungrier :)

B-green smoothie with banana/orange/avo pit and spinich - tasted weird, maybe the pit
S-half of my apple/grape/red curly kale smoothie (I'll have the rest in afternoon or eve)
L-raw chili (not too bad) and large green salad w/cabbage,carrots,beets,shrooms & sunflower seeds
D-not real hungry after lunch (prob. over ate) so will have green smoothie and if I do get hungry I'll have another small bowl of raw chili. I made too much and have to use it up!
Feeling good so far although more tired this morning than yesterday.

Have another head ache today but I guess I need to be happy that I am releasing toxins.

I didn't really have any set meals today, but this is what I've had: green smoothie, guacamole with celery and carrots, 2 bananas, a few brownie chunks, a pear...then I had a bit of cooked broccoli and couscous. But, I'm not going to let it screw with me any. I'm not going to binge and I'm right back on board tomorrow!

B - orange, plum
L - small salad - garden
S - a few flax seed crackers, diet pepsi
S - yuengling, 6 french fries (not raw)
D - carrots, mushrooms, 1/2 apple, hummus
S - 94% fat free pop corn (not raw), some almonds and raisins
I went out for happy hour with work peeps and found out the restaurant took the hummus and veggies off the menu : ( so i had a few french fries but eh, I ate them and realized again like yesterday I don't want these things. So I stopped after a few. The popcorn is something I love, I am working on getting a dehydrator so I can make that raw popcorn. Yum : ) Congrats everyone on your days so far!! This blog keeps me motivated!

i felt a little tired today so I tried to eat more protein to get my energy up but all in all a good day:
b - banana and some raw muesli
l - almond milk and some almonds, sunflower seeds, and raisins
s - apple, almond milk, puffed millet (not raw)
d - salad, banana

Had fun yesterday on Day 4!
M: Big green smoothie full of Kale, strawberries, banana, ground flax seed, ice and water
S: carrots
L: Salad (Spinach, lettuce, toms, sunflower seeds and my super yum raw dressing)
D: More salad because I had soooo much in my refridge and a glass of red wine.
So here is the question of the day ... Is red wine raw?
- I have a friend who is actually a wine maker and I have made wine with him (from picking the grapes to the crush and enjoying the bottles years later). He does not put chemicals or fillers in his wine. His wine is just grapes and love. What is everyone's take on red wine?
