Yes, Angelina.. both of my daughters have had this happen to them ... about the 7th or 8th days... ( I think once their system cleared of most toxins floating around wild ).

For a few days there, they barely ate anything. I had that happen to me a few times, also.

I struggled with whether or not to force feed any one of us, but.... I thought, for right now, we'd just let things rest as they are - and when we're hungry, we'll eat!, Right?

But, watch out, though, Angelina, that you don't shut down your metabolism by accident. When you feel hungry, feed yourself very well.
Has the heat index increased in your area lately?

It has in ours, and that usually means we're not going to eat half as much.

Yes, I sure do have this problem. And although I sure don't think we need as much as the average American eats, I do think that we need to make sure we are eating enough to keep our bodies going.

I think that this is the reason that I do'nt lose much weight is that I put my body into starvation mode. Not good, plus I do notice that when I eat more throughout the day, Ihave more energy the next.

But there is a balance. At one point I was eating so much dehydrated foods that I started feeling yucky. Had to cut back to just the fruits/vegies.

So I guess we have to listen to our bodies, are we feeling energetic or sluggish.. I think evaluating our raw diet is a good thing.

I don't consider this a problem. It could be you are getting in touch with eating for nourishment rather than emotion? ..or something to do? Most eat SAD for taste, not for nourishment. Consider this ~ Allow your body to balance out. Keep lots of fresh fruit and veggies on hand for when you are hungry...and most of all ~ play with your food! :D

Perhaps your body is "asking" for a fast?

Hmmm... Rawk's got a point there...

during detox, isn't it adviseable to fast for a while.. I know I've read over and over again, that if you fast, your body will heal faster.

....gotta think more on that one...

Many times a fast is suggested because a person is perhaps sickly, or having other symptoms that food appears to be excerbating.

Conditionally, during fasting, you body may heal, faster not necessarily, but heal nontheless. It really depends on how toxic one is. From my experience, because of the amount of medications and illness within my body, my fast(s) yielded very little results, but yielded some. I did find and I do find that my eating raw has yielded some great results.

If you body is calling you to fast, just keep yourself hydrated. As Rawkin said, perhaps this is a time for a fast to allow you to discover what true hunger is and teach you to eat to live and not live to eat. Many times we eat based on a clock or someone else perception of when breakfast, lunch and dinner are due and our bodies on raw began to perform naturally. Hope this helps.
