When I set up this account on RawFoodTalk 21 months, 305 blogs, and 2,000 posts ago, I had no idea how important RFT would become to me. At that time I had been doing the raw food thing for several years, off and on. I knew I needed it to be ON and stay ON. Finding RawFoodTalk, reading, posting, and blogging were the tools that helped me achieve my desire to be raw and stay that way. I have made cyber-friends along the way that have helped me. Some are gone, some come and go, many of you are still here, and more continue to come. To my cyber-friends and everyone that posts on RFT, please accept my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the encouragement you so freely give, and for sharing your knowledge, ideas, recipes, and experiences.

I feel a special appreciation for and owe a huge debt of gratitude to Alissa Cohen and her book, “Living on Live Foods”. I send her a “Thank YOU” each and every time I log onto RawFoodTalk. Attending her chef class and eating at Grezzo’s is high on my wish list. May every success continue to come her way.

I still feel I have a long way to go and much to learn on this raw journey. I look forward to doing it here.

What Living Food Means to Me

Freedom from calorie counting.

Freedom to eat what I want, when I want.

Freedom from eating at restaurants.

Freedom from minor aches, pains, and stomach aches.

Freedom from over the counter medications.

Freedom from adult acne and rosacea.

Freedom from lethargy.

Freedom to be different.

Freedom to be me.

:D

Thank you!

My husband just took me down a notch. I told him, "I'm a Tree". He replies, "I can tell, you have yourself planted there." LOL :D

I love it, LOVE it. Well, I love your "I'm a Tree" statement, that is. :D

Years ago, when I was feeling down-ish about Life, I'd tell myself, "I am ATHENA! I am a TREE!" and pump myself up that way. Now I think I'm a SPROUT. *LOL*

I got a good chuckle from this one too!

Isn't it so funny how many people have the idea they will STOP living when they don't have certain foods... and it turns out you START living!?

Thanks for the reminder of the freedom there is in health! :)

I'll accept your kind words :o as more of the encouragement and positive energy that is so freely given here. Thanks, again to everyone.

That is enough about me. I'd rather know what RFT and RAW mean to you. Perhaps I should start another thread asking that question....?
