I suggest tea (especially one with ginger in it).
I also sometimes put a spoon of miso in a mug of warm water.

Awesome video Deb - thanks!
Here's my favorite soup right now:
Janice Inella’s Red Pepper Curry Soup from Carol Alt The Raw 50
3 chopped Red (or yellow or orange) Bell Peppers (save 1/2 cup for garnish)
1 Apple cut into eighths (save 2 section for garnish)
1 Avocado
1/2 cup Fresh Basil
1 cup Pine Nuts
1/3 Red Onion
1 clove Garlic
3 Tbs Curry (I only use 2 Tbs and it’s perfect)
1 tsp Himalayan Salt
2 cups Water
Oooh - great looking recipe revdrcyn :) I've got a bunch of bell peppers that I didn't know what to do with and along comes your recipe ~ Thanks *Ü*

I second the recommendation for tea -- that seems to help a lot. Also, make sure you aren't eating any food straight from the fridge; let things warm up at least to room temperature before putting them in your mouth. Run your fruit under warm water before eating it if it's chilled. I've found that eating cold or cool foods makes hot food cravings a lot worse.
Get plenty of exercise, too, to keep your circulation strong.

i appreciate the advice, i know spices definitely help so keep the recipes coming. im currently pretty acidic so im trying to cut down on nuts, so if you have recipes with out a lot of nuts that would be great.

Mmm..tea sounds good. It's been soooo cold here in NY. However, I'm wondering if there is a special tea that's raw or..is tea raw? What do you recommend? I would love to drink tea, if it's allowed as part of a raw lifestyle, but I'm not certain what kind?
Thanks!

No it is not raw but I decided a long time ago that if having a cup of tea from time to time helped to keep me raw then I would indulge myself. I do use boiling water to start it off but I do not drink it very hot. I have come to not like it very hot in the past few years so that is no sacrifice. I can see a time coming shortly when I will not even want it warm.

what i have heard is if you don't boil water it is raw. it should be hot enough where you can put your finger in it, thats a way to tell because then it is usually only 110 degrees ROUGHLY. so because you don't cook the water and kill it by boiling it you are just simply heating it (the way we dehydrate foods) i was aware tea is raw, in that sense.

Not necessarily, not knowing the drying process.
