I have Alissa's book which is a font of information and tons of recipes that any one person could need. My question is should I get the dvd. I am on a journey once again haven fallen off my way for a few months. But now I'm back. I really could use someone to sit in front of me and show me how it's done. If you have the dvd how has it helped you. You know I'm going to get it anyway :) but I want to know if you found the dvd helped you with food prepration when making dishes. Thanks.

YES. The book can seem daunting, because it is SO big and there is SO much information in it, and the DVD makes it all look easy. Alissa is relaxed and stresses the importance of simply eating and eating simply. I would strongly suggest picking up a copy.

Ahh thanks so much Skier2. That is exactly what I'm looking for. I really need a teacher who is easy going and shows me some food prep ropes. I read somewhere in the book again today that it is good to make recipes, some people fall off raw because they only make salads and dont' know how to make much else and may feel deprived. I'm just paraphrasing but I'm sure it was worded better. This evening I made the date nut torte. I'm telling you it was devine. I was so proud of myself. Thanks.
