I've got one of those circular "Harvest" (?) dehydrators sitting around. Its been in a box for a long while, and yesterday when I was looking at it, I could see there was dust down in the hole where the motor is. It looks like you might be able to pry open the plastic, but Im afraid I'll more than likely crack it in the preocess. I already took a chunk out of my thumb trying this

ANybody got a circular dehydrator, and know how to "deep clean" it????

I'd rather not put wet, yummy stuff in there just to have dust blown into it. mmmmm, yummmm...not!

Well, I have one of those too and if you have a vacuum with a hose to it, maybe take the hose to the motor part to get that dust out!

Hey vegggeeemom! thankks for the reply. I got up the courage again to take the thing apart. Use a key, not your thumb! :o
