I'm sorry, I know there are a million "is this detox" threads, but . . . :)

I've been RAW (this time) about a week - and suddenly today, my right knee hurts a LOT. But for no reason - I haven't strained it in anyway.

Can it be detox?

Probably not, but you might benefit from taking MSM. I had severe joint pain, went raw and started taking MSM blended in my green smoothies and I now have no pain and the range of motion in my knees of a gymnast--seriously.

Sorry, but what is MSM? I'm having knee pain as well! Although, I think it's probably from running with worn out shoes...

MSM - Methyl-sulfonyl-methane, essentially a $50 word for organic sulfur. It is sometimes included in glucosamine-chondroitin supplements, but I but it as an isolated supplement from whole foods and blend it into my green smoothies for instant action.

Thanks - am going to Whole Foods next week - I will buy some!

I started getting intense pain too. I was craving avocados when I was sooo cold here a few weeks ago for a while. I've decreased the avocado & the pain is almost gone now.
