We live 4 hours away, but next time we're in the Seattle area, I'm looking forward to it! In fact, we just had our first ever raw food meal at a restaurant last month in Moses Lake. I loved the experience. *Ü*

Do you have a favorite on the menu (http://generationthrive.com/wp-content/themes/thrive/assets/img/menus/thrive_menu_v2.2.pdf)?

Oh, the menu looks so good! I wish they had the desserts posted, though! Hehe.
I wish sooo badly that I had a raw restaurant where I live. Alas, I am in Kentucky where raw foods is still pretty under the radar. =-(

My husband hunted all over for a raw restaurant for our anniversary. He finally found Choco Canyon organic grill, so we went there, it was very nice, but more of a cafe type place.
I can't wait to try out Thrive!!!
Yippee!

I also looooooove Thrive! Each time I try something new and I love it, I can't even pick a favorite on the menu. The staff are helpful and friendly and informative - I really love this place :)

I finally made the trek to Thrive! I took my brother. We both felt lots of good vibes there. We plan on going back again, soon.
My brother had the "hungry-no-more! salad with balsamic dressing. He said it was great! I had the "oh my sombrero!" salad. It was delicious!!!!!!! Unfortunately, I won't be having it again. Turns out the sunflower pate is sweetened with Jerusalem Artichoke Syrup. I'm highly allergic to Jerusalem artichokes. The reaction set in about the same time I finished eating. My throat still feels prickly.

Thanks, Aleesha. No worries now, 8 hours later and I only feel a little tingle. I am bummed because it was so delicious!!!! I may have to put out the $5 to buy the recipe and make it at home, only w/o the JA syrup.

They charge $5 for a recipe now? They used to give them away to anyone who asked.. I emailed them for an Asian type recipe (don't recall off hand) and she emailed it to me. But that was some months ago.
Glad you're feeling better. I've never heard of JA syrup! *Ü*

I know!! I saw an interview Monika did (I think it was Paul Nison's internet show sometime last year) and she said that recipes were available for the asking. That is why I asked! Maybe it depends on who you ask. I didn't see Monika there today or I would have asked her personally. I will send her an email and see what happens. :)

i think they may be a bit hard up right now. when i was there this weekend they had a sign up looking for "loans" from private investors.
5k minimum. 7 or8 % interest and menu discounts
for the raw playas

I hope they find investors. I can't help them with 5k, but I will go back soon and give them $5 for a recipe or two. :)

This place is named Thrive. Is it owned by Brendan Brazier?

I think there are various investors. From what little I know, Monika Kinsman is the owner and operator.
