How about a fruit smoothie? (with no greens) *Ü*

My favorite recipe has NEVER failed to please even the most hard core SAD eaters. :)

2-3 c. fresh baby spinach
1 orange (peeled)
1 bananas (peeled)
1-2 T. honey or agave nectar
2-3 c. water

Serve fresh in chilled glasses.

Baby spinach is very mild. Not too much, a handful is enough for first-timers. With orange juice, pineapple and 2-3 frozen strawberries.

I would agree about the spinach, and a combo of baby spinach and baby arugula is a little peppery but also sweeter than spinach alone. Collards are also surprisingly mild, and herbs like cilantro and a little parsley are also fairly mild.

Beginners Delight
1 small handful of baby organic spinach
1 cup of water
Blend and then add:
3 organic bananas (if they are frozen you can omit the ice cubes)
1 cup of ice cubes
Blend and then add:
1 cup of frozen blueberries
Blend till smooth.
Enjoy!
