Hi I'm hoping someone might have a recipe I can use for crackers that is made from, sprouting seeds. I can't tolerate flaxseed it gives me really bad stomach pains. I read somewhere ages ago that you can make them from sprouts but can't find a recipe. Has anyone tried doing crackers this way?

i dont know if this is at all helpful, you would have to sort of make up a recipe, but i used to see raw crackers sold that were made out of dehydrated sauerkraut...

also, the flax is just used as a "binder" in some crackers. Chia might do the same thing although its too expensive here for me to try it. Ive used at least one recipe where avocadoes were added to make it more pliable so they might also work as a "binder" for the other ingredients. you could check out recipes on the gone raw site, theres a huge database of recipes there.one from there: Curried Lentil Crackers

These are based on Brendan Bazier's crackers which he bakes in the oven but I dehydrated mine and they turned out great!
Ingredients:

1 cup of sprouted lentils
1/2 cup of ground sunflower seeds
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp agave nectar
salt to taste
Preparation:

Mix all ingredients really well in a food processor.
Spread on dehydrator sheet about 1/4" thick. Dehydrate for a few hours, then flip over and dehydrate until desired moisture is achieved. (Sorry I don't have exact times - I can't remember how long I left them in for now!)
Cut into squares and serve with mango chutney. Really tasty so probably best to triple the quantities!
