I recall joining an emergence support group for Raw Foodists people that was set up after the hurricane in New Orleans so that we can help each other out if needed but I do not know what has happened to it since.

I don't think this is what you are looking for, but I have some ideas --For Haiti, for example:
You could make some grawnola, and put it in a tin, then print up a label that looks official - like it's store bought. People are afraid to eat homemade stuff. I know soldiers overseas are supposed to throw out homemade stuff unless they know the person.
Also, there is a raw benefit today in Akron, Ohio at Vegiterranean (a vegan restaurant owned by Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders rock group). They're actually having a vegan bake sale to raise $$ for Haiti. Some people from my raw meetup wete going to donate some raw treats.
Just some ideas, but probably not quite what you are seeking, I have a feeling.

Instead of money, how about donating fresh fruit to a local food bank. My brother used to go to a food bank once a week. The only kind of fruit he ever got was in a can.
